The new HP Chromebook Enterprise x360 14E G1 is a powerful (and customizable) convertible Chromebook with support for Google and HP's enterprise services. The HP Chromebook Enterprise 14A G5 is a cheaper, clamshell-style model with an AMD processor. And the HP Chromebox Enterprise G2 is a tiny desktop with a choice of 7th-gen or 8th-gen Intel processors.
The mini laptop is powered by a 7-watt, 14nm quad-core processor with a base CPU speed of 1 GHz and a max turbo speed of 4 GHz. It's unclear what that will mean in terms of a real-world performance boost over previous-gen mini-laptops which typically topped out at 5 watt Intel Core i7-8500Y dual-core chips with 1.5 GHz and 4.2 GHz boost speeds.
The HP Chromebox Enterprise G2 is a 5.9? x 5.9? x 1.6? desktop computer with a choice of an 7th-gen Intel Core i3-7130U or 8th-gen Celeron 3867U processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 64GB of storage. One thing this model has going for it that the laptops do not is that the storage comes in the form of an M.2 SSD, which should be faster than the eMMC storage used in most Chromebooks.
The game streaming service will go live starting at 9:00AM Pacific Time that morning. November 19th is also when the first Stadia Founder Edition sets should be delivered to the first folks who pre-ordered. The Founders Edition set, in case you need a reminder, includes a Chromecast Ultra, a limited edition Night Blue Stadia controller, plus a 3-month Stadia Pro subscription and a 3-month Stadia Pro buddy pass. Stadia Pro is Google's subscription service that offers a Netflix-for-games experience for $10 per month. Some of those games will include Red Dead Redemption 2, Mortal Kombat 11, and Kine.
